Contact Invitation Definition

A Contact Invitation is generated when an employer wants to contact a candidate. Essentially, when an employer identifies an attractive candidate through a Candidate Search, he or she initiates a Contact Invitation and the candidate is sent an email alert that an employer is interested in contacting them. The candidate can then view the Job Description associated with the Contact Invitation. If the candidate accepts the invitation, his or her contact information is released to the employer. If he or she declines, the info is not released. Either way, the System generates a message to the employer with the candidates response. If the candidate fails to respond within 7 days, the Contact Invitation expires.
